She describes her style and thoughts below
My style is empathic, conversational and curious. I’m interested in your concerns and how they have come about. Relationship patterns from early life usually continue into adulthood. An important part of the work in therapy is to bring your relationship patterns into awareness and to consider how to change ways of relating that are no longer serving you well. I’m guided by psychodynamic theory and systems theory.
I believe that counselling and psychotherapy can be a positive experience of being deeply listened to. Taking time out for self -reflection is a form of self care that can lead to a stronger sense of self and improved functioning in life and relationships.
